Paediatric & Neonatal Circuits

Paediatric (15mm tubing) and neonatal (10mm tubing) anaesthesia circuits are available in two types of tubing: corrugated and smoothore. Paediatric circuits are also available with Flexi-lock tubing.

Parallel Y-Piece

Standard paediatric Y-piece has 15mm tubing connectors and has a low dead space in comparison to an adult Y-piece.

Low Dead Space Y-Piece

Extra-low dead space Y-pieces allows the ventilation of even smaller patients, optional for paediatric circuits, standard on neonatal circuits..

Mapleson C

Mapleson C has the reservoir bag positioned very close to the patient and can also be used for manual ventilation during resuscitation.

Mapleson F

Mapleson F circuits have fresh gas supply close to the patient, breathing bag distant from patient. Configurations with paediatric APL valve or open-tail reservoir bag.
