Urimeter Enhancements

Working in partnership with healthcare professionals in ICU and operating theatres, we are announcing enhancements to Urimeter to deliver clinical improvements to promote positive patient outcomes.

Single Hook Design
Healthcare professionals now have two mounting options, enabling Urimeter to be securely attached to a bed frame while maintaining a clear, safe operating area. The optional hook is supplied in the pack and can be fitted using a simple two-step process.
When transferring a patient, the single-hook design supports the measuring chamber at an upright angle, minimising the risk of urine backflow onto the hydrophobic filter.
T-Tap with One-Handed Operation
A new, universal T-tap features a clear, color-coded visual indicator. Once removed from it’s protective housing, the T-tap can be opened or closed with a single hand, improving efficiency for clinicians, especially in low-light conditions.
Internal Tube Length
To aid fluid flow from chamber to bag, the updated Urimeter has an increased internal tube length enabling healthcare professionals to measure, record, and empty output more accurately.
All engineered updates have been carefully considered to avoid increasing the cost for Integrated Care Board (ICB) procurement teams.
