We are seeking people who are passionate and ambitious, clinically qualified with current or recent experience, driven to provide excellent service to patients and healthcare organisations whilst supporting Flexicare’s business growth. You will be a contributor, shaper and driver turning ideas into reality.

As the UK Respiratory Territory Manager, North west, you will help drive sales of the Flexicare portfolio of Respiratory products through agreed objectives into the UK Healthcare sectors within your designated territory. You will need to be a persuasive communicator with a solid track record of sales success who possesses a proven ability to develop long term relationships with customers and be able to implement strategic business plans. Customers will include, but are not limited to, procurement teams, specialist nurses and clinicians, clinical management, as well as any relevant stakeholders that influence the route to market.

Job Location

Field based and suitably positioned to effectively cover the relevant UK territory, reporting to Head Office: Cynon Valley Business Park, Mountain Ash CF45 4ER, UK.

Supervisory Responsibilities/Position In Structure

Reporting to Marketing/UK Respiratory Sales Director.

Main Duties

Responsibilities include:

• Drive sales by effectively planning and prioritising the sales activity of respiratory consumable devices in the designated area, to deliver budgets set by the Marketing/UK Respiratory Sales Director.

• Produce a business plan identifying key sales areas and prioritise the actions to protect, and grow this business while ascertaining which new accounts should be actively targeted.

• Meet and develop effective professional relationships with all key stakeholders who include, but are not limited to, Purchasing Consortiums and Regional Purchasing Hubs, Procurement Managers and Procurement Departments, Lead Clinicians, Consultants and Clinical Specialists and Practice Educators and relevant Clinical Department Managers.

• Represent and promote the Respiratory portfolio of products using professional selling and negotiation skills to drive demand in key areas in line with agreed activity levels that follow the market development strategy and that optimise customer satisfaction.

• Implement clinical trials using the relevant documentation and provide feedback on the results to management and marketing outlining the account conversion strategy and provide the relevant personnel with forecasts on the predicted unit volume of the new business and, in line with stock availability, manage customer expectation for the conversion.

• Analyse monthly sales figures and produce a report that shows performance against budget highlighting any additional actions planned to ensure an “on target” performance is achieved.

• Present reports on all previous activity, on-going major project status, competitor activity and clinical advancements which can impact future product development and marketing programs to the Marketing/UK Respiratory Sales Director on a monthly basis.

• Report on all key activities on a weekly basis via the weekly reporting system and provide a monthly call planner to be updated on a weekly basis which are sent to the Marketing/UK Respiratory Sales Director by 9am on the Monday of each week.

• Develop and maintain the requisite product and marketing knowledge of the respiratory portfolio, including the competitor equivalents, and ensure professional qualifications are kept up to date.

Skills, Qualifications, Competence Level

• Multi-role sales experience with recognised sales or account management training.

• Proven working knowledge of the NHS and private healthcare organisations including awareness of the various supply routes used.

• The skill to analyse sales data from several sources and manipulate this in Microsoft Excel to identify growth potential on the territory.

• The ability to formulate presentations and present to Key Opinion Leaders or business colleagues as appropriate.

• Excellent communication and networking skills with the ability to build, and maintain, relationships with Key Opinion Leaders.

Desirable

• Clinical background (OPD in theatres, clinical in ICU) and commercial experience within the Respiratory healthcare sector.

• Clean Driving Licence or maximum of 3 points.

Experience within theatres or Critical care specifically across airway management or ventilator systems.

• Worked with alternative supply routes to the NHS such as hospital wholesalers.

• Has delivered bespoke training to Health Care Professionals and good competency in presenting.

Experience Required

• Commercially focused with a sound understanding of the evolving NHS and a proven working knowledge of the territory.

• Results driven with account management experience and a demonstrable record of sales success.

• Demonstrates activity to drive customer awareness and increase sales when product conversion has been successfully achieved.

• Consistently demonstrates initiative where there are barriers to access and works pro-actively to open doors.

• Ability to manage both long and short term business goals and to deliver added value results within these goals.

Desirable

• Experience within theatres or Critical care specifically across airway management or ventilator systems.

• Worked with alternative supply routes to the NHS such as hospital wholesalers.

• Has delivered bespoke training to Health Care Professionals and good competency in presenting.

Particular Aptitude/Skills Required

• Driven individual who demonstrates problem solving in their current role.

• Able to work both within a team and independently.

• Individual to show good emotional intelligence and manage with this in mind.

• IT competent and able to use Microsoft Excel and the other Microsoft Office suite of programs.

• The ability to pass, and maintain, MIA Theatre Access qualification or other relevant courses.

• Driven individual who demonstrates problem solving in their current role.

• Able to work both within a team and independently.

• Individual to show good emotional intelligence and manage with this in mind.

• IT competent and able to use Microsoft Excel and the other Microsoft Office suite of programs.

• The ability to pass, and maintain, MIA Theatre Access qualification or other relevant courses.

Desirable

• Familiar with Health Economics

• MIA qualified.
